Sumela Banerjee is a data science professional with over 13 years of experience specializing in building and leading strategic solutions for fraud management, marketing, and customer journey management in the banking and retail industries. Sumela has held various roles, including Senior Data Scientist at ITC Infotech and Manager at EY, where they focused on marketing analytics solutions for nationalized banks. Currently, Sumela serves as the Lead Assistant Vice President at HSBC, developing deployable machine learning solutions to combat fraud in the cards and lending sectors. Sumela earned a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Calcutta.
