Tamer Sobhy

Tamer Sobhy is currently the Manager of Credit Policy in the Credit Risk Management department at HSBC Bank in Egypt, where they evaluate loan applications, monitor risk areas, and participate in setting credit policies. Tamer previously served as Section Head in the Project Finance & Private Equity Division at National Societe General Bank from 2002 to 2008, overseeing teams and managing corporate client accounts. Tamer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Cairo University, earned between 1995 and 1999, and completed a six-month credit course focused on accounting and financial analysis in 2003.
