Tim Freeman

Tim Freeman is the Global Head of Surveillance IT at HSBC, leading a team of over 300 professionals in the development of market abuse and conduct risk detection software. With a strong foundation in project management and change consulting from prior roles at Citibank, ABN AMRO, and BAE Systems, Tim has cultivated expertise in Agile and DevSecOps methodologies. Tim also holds a BA in Environmental Management from the University of Leeds. Their current focus is on enhancing surveillance capabilities across multiple lines of business to ensure safety from potential market abuse and conduct risks.
