Uma Surkund

Uma Surkund is currently the Group Head of Transformation at HSBC, a position held since 2019. Prior to this role, they served as the Global Head of Delivery Excellence at HSBC from 2018 to 2019 and as a Managing Director in Strategy at Credit Suisse from 2016 to 2018. Uma's earlier experience includes a Director role at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 2000 to 2005 and a Senior Consultant position at Accenture Strategy from 1996 to 2000. They hold a B.A. with honors in Economics from Mount Holyoke College and an M.Phil. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie-Mellon University, both of which are ongoing.
