Victor Lee

Victor Lee is an accomplished leader in risk and compliance with extensive experience in financial crime oversight. Currently serving as the Head of Financial Crime Oversight at HSBC in Hong Kong since October 2025, Victor Lee ensures effective management of financial crime risks and advises senior executives on related issues. Previously, Victor Lee held the position of Head of Financial Crime Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer at Hang Seng Bank from August 2018 to October 2025, overseeing multiple aspects of financial crime, including investigations and anti-money laundering efforts. Before that, Victor Lee was the Head of External Investigative Reporting at the Hong Kong Police Force from 2009 to 2018, where responsibilities included significant law enforcement duties. Victor Lee holds a Master of Public Administration from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Information Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
