Victor Matarranz is the Head of International Wealth and Premier Banking (IWPB) for HSBC in the Americas and Europe, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served on multiple boards, including as Chairman of the Board at Santander Asset Management from 2017 to 2024, and as a member of the Board at Zurich Santander Insurance America and Santander US. They held various leadership roles at Santander from 2012 to 2017, including Senior Executive Vice President and Global CEO of Wealth Management and Insurance. Victor earned a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and an MBA in Finance from London Business School.
