Wasif Khan, CPA, CIA, SCR®, is currently a Senior Sustainability Risk Manager at HSBC, where they focus on advancing the sustainability risk management framework for the U.S. Corporate and Institutional Banking business. With extensive experience in risk and control management, Wasif has previously held leadership roles at Wells Fargo, where they drove ESG and climate initiatives and improved risk management practices. Wasif holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge and is pursuing a Master’s in Sustainability Leadership at the same institution, expected in 2025. Throughout their career, Wasif has demonstrated a commitment to minimizing operational risk and enhancing sustainability strategies across organizations.
