I, Vernon Baker, in 2000, founded HSeverywhere to incubate the “HSe web application,” as referred to by parents and guardians.

As a corporate social responsibility, a Fortune 500 corporation can fund the HSe web app to undo the horror of pre-K-12 education results. This is a huge corporate sponsorship opportunity. Never before has there been a remake of K-12 education results—in hard-numbers. And kids during each year before kindergarten can be at the web app with parents and guardians. Decades of unfair divide must end. Think “diversity”; think “social impact.” The National Assessment of Educational Progress reveals that HALF OF ALL U.S. HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES CANNOT READ OR DO MATH, an injustice blasted by the media as a human gateway to the nation's socioeconomic bottom.

FREE-ACCESS AND AD-FREE, the HSe web app needs a funding "Sponsor." The Sponsor can be a foundation, a government entity, or a Fortune 500. (One Sponsor.)

A FORTUNE 500 can do its due diligence and seek to be the Sponsor, the sponsorship doubling as a MARQUEE MARKETING STRATEGY—accountable in hard-number metrics results such as market share.

Jamie Dimon is making a five-year, $30-BILLION, K-12-related effort—likewise with a powerful goal. In a report to shareholders he notes that true innovation implies risk and that outcomes are unknowable without implementation. He urges all giant corporations to make change-agent-level societal efforts.

Unfortunately, the solution to remake K-12 results will not come by directing a particular field of study or credential to find it. Look no farther than the federal No Child Left Behind Act. Likely costing a $trillion (or far more if consider the lost opportunity for children), NCLB disrupted teachers, classrooms, and students—as NAEP scores stagnated, then dropped.

For a bold Fortune 500 Sponsor and K-12, the HSe web app offers a win-win.
