Rakesh Sarin is an Independent Director at HSIL. Rakesh was previously with Wellness Mandala "WellM", Nyshaasa Energy, and Suzlon Energy Ltd. where they served as the CEO - International Business & Global Services.

Rakesh has rich experience of running large progressive organizations in diverse geographies and has been working extensively in the energy sector at global level. The world is undergoing huge transformation and energy sector is among the front runners. Rakesh is a big advocate of developing change leadership to create opportunities in midst of the change through innovation and synergistic collaboration.

As a global business leader, Rakesh's core belief is that engaged people and aligned teams are the real differentiator for success. Rakesh believes in people and has demonstrated creation of wining platforms to unleash people potential for results which ultimately create world class products, processes, customer delight, growth and sustainable profits. Rakesh Sarin has a B. Tech. in Chemical from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi and an MBA from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Rakesh also has a Master Class in Scenarios from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
