Vineet Kumar Chawla has over 25 years of work experience in IT leadership roles. Vineet most recently served as Vice President & Group Head of IT at HSIL Ltd., where they collaborated with corporate, local, and offshore subsidiaries to define IT strategy and act as a business driver for revenue generation. Prior to that, they were the Head of IT at PI Industries Ltd. for four years, where they defined the IT strategy in line with the organization's vision and goals. Vineet has also held various IT leadership positions at HT Media Ltd., Sakata Inx India Limited, PI Industries Ltd., Carrier Corporation, Carrier Aircon Ltd., Carrier Aircon Limited, IRIS Software, and JMA Limited. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in project management, application development, SAP upgrade, and infrastructure management, among other IT responsibilities.
Vineet Kumar Chawla holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on IT & Business Analyst from the Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi. Vineet also pursued a Diploma in Strategy Management with a specialization in global IT management from the Indian School of Business in 2010. Additionally, Vineet completed an MBA program at the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, where they studied IT and Finance from 1993 to 1995.
In terms of certifications, Vineet obtained a Lead Auditor ISMS (BS ISO/IEC 27001:2013) certification from the International Register of Certificated Auditors in August 2018. Vineet also completed a certificate course titled "Tackling the challenges of Big Data" in the field of "BIG Data" from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in February 2015, offered by the MIT Sloan School of Management. Furthermore, Vineet holds an ITIL V3 certification from PEOPLECERT, obtained in September 2013.
