Martha Byrd

Martha Byrd is a seasoned recruiter at HSP - Henkel Search Partners since November 2013, specializing in executive search for private equity firms, hedge funds, and alternative asset managers. Previously, Martha served as an Equity Research Associate at Sterne Agee from July 2012 to November 2013, and gained experience as a Development Intern at The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia from August 2010 to June 2012. Additional roles include Co-Manager of Summer Programs at the Smithsonian Institution during the summer of 2011 and an internship in the American Furniture Department at Christie's in June 2010. Martha holds a Master’s degree in Commerce with a focus on Marketing and Management from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor’s degree in Global Development Studies and Art History from the same institution. Early education was completed at The Lawrenceville School.
