HSR Manufaktur: Homologation Specials Reimagined

Based in Munich, Germany, HSR Manufaktur is a luxury automotive coachbuilder defining the "Analog Renaissance." In an era where modern supercars have become increasingly digital, heavy, and emotionally numb, we serve as the guardians of mechanical connection. We do not simply restore classic cars; we evolve them. Our mission is to reinterpret the iconic motorsport legends of the 1980s and 90s for a new generation of discerning collectors.

Our inaugural project is the Type 859, a street-legal, high-performance evolution of the legendary Audi Sport Quattro. Designed to capture the raw, visceral emotion of the Group B era, the Type 859 seamlessly integrates state-of-the-art engineering with uncompromising analog feedback.

Engineering & Performance:
Built upon a shortened chassis to match the original's aggressive proportions, the Type 859 features a full bespoke carbon-fiber body, achieving a target dry weight of under 1,200 kg. At its heart lies Audi’s legendary 2.5L 5-cylinder DAZA engine, tuned to deliver over 500 horsepower. This power is routed through a tactile 6-speed manual transmission and a modern Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system. For ultimate dynamic control, the car is equipped with TracTive active suspension and selectable driving modes (Street, Sport, Track, and Rally).

Bespoke Luxury & Exclusivity:
While the driving dynamics are pure motorsport, the cabin offers hyper-luxury refinement. The driver-focused interior includes a hidden roll cage, bespoke leather upholstery, and seamlessly integrated modern conveniences like air conditioning and Wireless Apple CarPlay.

Strictly limited to a production run of just 84 units, a tribute to the 1984 WRC, each Type 859 is highly customizable.

Backed by Tier-1 European engineering partners, HSR Manufaktur builds machines that move people emotionally.
