Denis O. James is a passionate emerging scientist dedicated to health research, focusing on health innovation, antimicrobial resistance, climate change, and community development. Currently serving as the Cancer Team Lead for the Consortium of Genomics Students and Young Researchers in Africa and as the Founder & Chairperson of both The Young Scientists Association and Mituri Pathways Women's Group, Denis is committed to building the capacity of young scientists and promoting literacy and economic empowerment among underprivileged communities. With experience in molecular biology techniques, bioinformatics, and teaching, Denis continues to advocate for change and food security while nurturing the potential of future scientists. Currently, Denis is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Research Methods at Pwani University.
