Tony Chen

Tony Chen is an experienced professional with a strong background in sales and business development. Tony began their career in 2001 as Vice President of Business Development for USA eConnect, where they evaluated investment opportunities with emphasis on China markets and researched consumer demand for personal GPS locator devices. In 2002, they moved to Looms Inc. as Sr. Director. In 2005, they joined Sun Microsystems as Product Marketing Manager. In 2006, they took on the role of CFO at Hyphase Energy. In 2007, they became Vice President of Business Development and Project Finance, as well as Director of Business Development, at Cool Earth Solar. In 2016, they joined Tesla as Commercial Project Development and in 2017, they founded and became CEO (Americas) of Fortune Drink, Inc. In 2018, they became Vice President of Business Development for the Solar Energy Industries Association and Board Member for Solar Energy Trade Shows, LLC. In 2021, they joined HST as Vice President of Sales.

Tony Chen received their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2007, where they studied Finance and Strategic Marketing. Prior to this, they earned a BS in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University. Tony also attended HKIS.
