Marcus Nixon

Marcus Nixon is a skilled developer with extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in augmented and virtual reality applications. As a Developer Relations Engineer at HTC VIVE since August 2022, Marcus has contributed to the development of immersive technologies. Previously, at Genies, Marcus served as a Unity Engineer and developed various VR applications at BSI Solutions, Inc., including a virtual classroom platform named NEVR. With a strong foundation in game development supported by experience at Microsoft, AVO Insights, and Cardinal Solutions, Marcus has demonstrated proficiency in Unity, C#, and various programming methodologies, along with a solid background in web development from positions at Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Marcus holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
