Roy Yuan

Roy (Ye) Yuan is a seasoned expert in virtual reality and augmented reality technologies, currently serving as the Head of VIVE Product in China at HTC Vive since May 2018. Previously, Roy held the position of VR Product Director at Beijing Enlight Media Co., Ltd. - 7D-Vision Tech, where focus included the development of advanced VR and AR systems. Additionally, experience as VR Product Director at VRP3D Digital Technology Co. Ltd. included management of various VR solutions and hardware designs, alongside project management in numerous high-profile virtual training and educational initiatives. Roy's career began as a researcher at UCL, contributing to the development of immersive VR applications and technologies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Vision Imaging and Virtual Environments from UCL and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and AI from Royal Holloway, University of London.
