Ying-Jing Wang

UX Director Of Creative Lab at HTC

Ying-Jing (Jean) Wang has a strong background in UX and UI design. Ying-Jing(Jean) started their career at HTC VIVE in 2016, where they worked as a UX Designer in the Creative Lab. In this role, they focused on PC VR design projects, including open box experience, system menu, and tools design. Ying-Jing(Jean) provided design ideas for a comprehensive open box experience, from information design in package boxes to the setup web and software installation process.

In 2018, Jean was promoted to Senior UX Designer and their role expanded to include dedicated work on VIVE Reality System (VRS) design projects. Ying-Jing(Jean) focused on system structure, user flow, open box experience, and system behavior design. Ying-Jing(Jean) delivered UX concepts, guidelines, and wires, and collaborated with external teams to effectively communicate design ideas for products.

In November 2021, Jean was promoted to the position of UX Director of the Creative Lab at HTC VIVE, where they continue to lead and direct the team's efforts in UX design.

Prior to their work at HTC VIVE, Jean worked at 豐達電 as a Senior UI Designer in the Creative Lab. Ying-Jing(Jean) was responsible for UI designs, ranging from Android mobile home launchers to core apps.

Ying-Jing (Jean) Wang holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Design and Visual Communications, General from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. In addition, they also pursued a Master's Degree in Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics, and Special Effects at the University of Southern California from 2007 to 2008. Prior to their master's degrees, Ying-Jing Wang completed their Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications at National Taiwan Normal University, where they studied from 2001 to 2006.
