Janel Weir

Janel Weir is an experienced Human Resources professional with a solid background in HR management across various industries. Currently serving as a Human Resources Generalist at HTT Inc - World Stamping since October 2022, Janel successfully implemented a new HRIS system, UKG Ready, enhancing modules for time and attendance, payroll, recruitment, and learning. Previously, at Brakebush Chicken, Janel was the first HR Generalist at a new plant location, establishing the role's expectations and responsibilities. Prior roles include Human Resources Coordinator at Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center, where Janel managed payroll processes, and at The Osthoff Resort, where responsibilities included payroll administration and recruitment. Janel's career began as an Executive Administrative Assistant, providing comprehensive support to the General Manager. Janel holds a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management and Spanish from Lakeland University, complemented by a study abroad program in Spanish Language and Literature from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.
