Andreas Both

Andreas Both is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of Software Engineering and Web Engineering. Currently serving as a Professor at HTWK Leipzig since March 2022, Andreas Both focuses on research and university teaching in areas such as Applied AI and Safe Software Architecture. In addition, since November 2016, Andreas Both has held the position of Head of Research and Head of Architecture, Web Technology, and IT Research at DATEV eG, overseeing vital technology-oriented projects. As a freelancer since June 2016, Andreas Both provides expertise in scalable software architectures and innovation management. Previously, Andreas Both held professorial duties at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and led research and development initiatives at Mercateo and Unister GmbH. Education includes a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Computer Science from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg.
