Albert Thomas

Albert Thomas is a Senior AI/ML Research Engineer at Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab, where they focus on model-based reinforcement learning, large language models, and AutoML. With a strong background in software development, Albert contributed to scikit-learn, developing a benchmark library for model-based RL and co-authoring multiple publications at prestigious conferences such as ICLR, ICML, and NeurIPS. Prior to their current role, Albert held research positions at EDF, GE Aviation, and Airbus Group, where they specialized in unsupervised anomaly detection and published award-winning papers. Albert holds a PhD in Machine Learning from Télécom ParisTech and has a solid educational foundation in mathematics and engineering.
