Ben Royall is a Senior Product and Yield Engineer with extensive experience in the fabrication and research of advanced photovoltaic technologies. They earned a PhD from the University of Essex, where they developed GaInNAs/GaAs multiple quantum well solar cells and worked as a Graduate Laboratory Assistant, supporting undergraduate projects. Ben has also been a Research Associate and Research Engineer at the University of Sheffield, focusing on III-V quantum optical integrated circuits. Prior to their current role, they held positions at Huawei as a Senior Wet Etch Engineer and Principal Product and Yield Engineer.
