Che Yan

Che (Shino) Yan is currently a Design Lead at the Human-Machine Interaction Lab at Huawei, where they focus on multimodal interaction technologies and lead product concept design and prototype development. Che has prior experience as a Senior Product Designer at Allied Technical Solutions, where they managed the redesign of SaaS tools, and as an Interaction Designer at TD, where they translated customer experience visions into design solutions. They co-founded Gooshii App, an interactive storytelling platform, and have held various design roles at organizations such as Jamdeo and Xenophile Media. Che holds multiple degrees, including an MFA in Digital Futures from Ontario College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Design from Nanjing University of Science and Technology.
