David Yang

David Yang is a Managing Director at Huawei Technologies, where they lead a team focused on IEEE 802.11 standards and Wi-Fi algorithms. With a PhD in Information Theory from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications, they began their career researching interference in cellular networks and progressed to senior engineering and leadership roles. Between 2010 and 2017, David contributed significantly to WLAN standardization activities, serving as secretary of IEEE802.11ac and holding leadership positions within various IEEE task groups.
