Edward Burgin

Edward Burgin is a seasoned professional in artificial intelligence and machine learning with extensive experience in research and applications across various sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Artificial Intelligence Research Scientist at Huawei Technologies since January 2019, Edward focuses on deep learning techniques for time series anomaly detection and multilingual intent classification within the Artificial Intelligence Operations group. Prior to this, Edward worked as an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Researcher at Accenture, leading algorithms for analyzing financial transactions through natural language processing. Edward’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Multi-disciplinary studies from Imperial College London, alongside a Master of Science in Cancer Signalling Networks from Nottingham Trent University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Birmingham.
