Gabriel Charlet

Gabriel Charlet is an experienced professional in the field of optical communication with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently, Gabriel serves as the Director of the Optical Communication Technology Lab at Huawei Technologies since December 2018, while also holding the position of Group Director at Nokia Bell Labs France since February 2016. Prior to these roles, Gabriel was a Research Manager at Alcatel Lucent Bell Labs from 2008 to January 2016 and a Study Leader at Alcatel R&I from 2004 to September 2008. Gabriel began the career as an engineer at Thales Laser from 1999 to 2000. Gabriel earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in optical communication from the University Paris 11 and completed studies at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School between 1996 and 1999.
