Gengchen Liu is currently a Technical Expert B in PON DSP Research at Huawei. Previously, Gengchen served as a Principal Algorithm Engineer and gained experience as a network hardware engineer intern at Facebook in 2019 and an algorithm and signal processing engineer intern at Velodyne LiDAR, Inc. in 2018. Gengchen also held the position of Graduate Research Assistant at the University of California, Davis from 2015 to 2020, where they focused on high-speed flexible optical transceivers and mixed signal circuit design. Gengchen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
