Jie Liu

Jie Liu is currently an Open Source Evangelist and OSPOer at Huawei, where they focus on corporate open source strategy and execution, as well as strategy planning and partnership management. Jie served as a Senior Marketing Manager at Huawei from 2013 to 2017, concentrating on business models and consumer behavior analysis. Prior to that, Jie worked as a Consultant and Network Planning Engineer for the South Planning & Design Institute in China from 2002 to 2005, providing consulting services for major telecommunications companies. Jie also held the position of Solution Marketing Manager at Huawei from 2010 to 2012, with a focus on fixed broadband network architecture and industry trends. Jie earned a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Xi'an Institute of Post and Communications between 1998 and 2002.
