Jie Ren

Jie Ren is a Senior Algorithm Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence at Huawei, where they leverage a strong statistical modeling and machine learning background to solve complex problems. Jie previously served as a Data Scientist at Cummins Inc. and as a Research Assistant at Florida State University, where they developed predictive models for smart manufacturing. They also worked as a Teaching Assistant in Computer Graphics and Quality Control & Reliability Engineering during their time at Florida State. Jie is expected to earn their Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Statistics in May 2019, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
