Jörg Thomas -

Jörg Thomas is the Director of the Data Protection Office at Huawei, where they lead privacy management and compliance initiatives for a global organization with approximately $120 billion in revenue. With over 30 years of experience in information technology, including 18 years focused specifically on data privacy, Jörg has held leadership roles such as Global Privacy Officer at Avaya and Head of IT Security at Tenovis. Additionally, Jörg possesses multiple privacy certifications, including CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, and is a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP). They are currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering at Technische Universität Darmstadt.
