Junwen Junwen is a Principal Engineer at Huawei, focusing on photonics, optics, and light-material interactions. Previously, Junwen served as an R&D Engineer at imec from 2020 to 2023, where they specialized in co-packaging optics and advanced semiconductor packaging. Prior to that, Junwen was a Postdoctoral Fellow, working on photonic packaging and optical coupling interfaces. Junwen earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they also held roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Junwen completed their undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Sun Yat-sen University.
