Khalid Omari

Khalid Omari is a skilled Process Engineer at Huawei, specializing in processes related to photo/EB lithography for innovative photonic devices since March 2022. Previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Royal Holloway, University of London, where leadership in micro/nanofabrication and device design for quantum computations was established from February 2020 to April 2022. As a Research Fellow in Antiferromagnetic Spintronics at the University of Nottingham, Khalid implemented low-energy non-volatile magnetic systems for memory applications from April 2018 to February 2020. Additional roles include investigating graphene-based devices at The University of Manchester and pioneering research in nanomagnetic materials at the University of Sheffield. Khalid holds a Ph.D. in Materials Sciences and Engineering from the University of Sheffield, complemented by a Master's degree in Nanoscale Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
