Leon Liu

Leon Liu is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in corporate communication and public affairs. Since June 2016, Leon has held the position of Vice President of Corporate Communication and Director of China Media Affairs at Huawei, contributing to various roles including Director of Public Affairs and Communication for the Nordic and Baltic regions and Head of Corporate Communication for Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Huawei, Leon served as Chief Reporter and Director at Xinhua News Agency, overseeing the newsroom and leading reporting initiatives, and began a career as a journalist at the Heilongjiang Branch of Xinhua. Leon holds a Master's degree in Economics from Peking University and a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Northeast Normal University.
