Markus Dillinger is currently the Head of 5G R&D for verticals at Huawei, where they also serve as a co-initiator and Executive Committee member of the 5G Automotive Association (5GAA). Since October 2013, they have focused on innovative solutions for C-V2X, smart grids, Industry 4.0, and ehealth. Prior to this role, Markus was the Director and Principal Solution Architect for Smart Grid and held various positions in wireless technology development, including roles at Siemens and Nokia Siemens Networks. Markus earned a Dipl.-Ing. in Telecommunication from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from 1984 to 1990.
