Michael Stewart

Michael Stewart is the Senior Expert of Financial Reporting at Huawei Technologies, where they lead the Company's London Accounting Policy Centre. They serve as the Vice-Chair for the Accounting and Financial Reporting of the Corporate Reporting Policy Group at Accountancy Europe and chair the Accounting Working Party. With extensive experience in IFRS Accounting Standards, Michael previously spent over seven years as a technical director at the International Accounting Standards Board, where they led the IFRS Interpretations Committee. Michael is also a member of the ICAEW's Financial Reporting Committee and has a background in consulting from PricewaterhouseCoopers. They hold a BSc in Physics from the University of Bath and are currently pursuing a French language diploma.
