Mustafa Meric is currently the Regional Tax Lead for the Middle East and Central Asia at Huawei Technologies. Previously, they served as Director of Direct Tax and Reporting at Huawei from 2016 to 2023, and held various financial roles including Financial Controller at Golar LNG and Vice President of Finance at Barclays. Mustafa began their career as an Audit Senior at UHY Hacker Young from 1997 to 2001. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance from Aberystwyth University and are a Fellow Chartered Accountant, certified between 1998 and 2001.
