Terry Chong

Terry Chong has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily with Huawei Technologies Malaysia, where tenure spanned from April 2014 to June 2024 in various leadership roles. As Enterprise Fulfillment Responsible, Terry managed key accounts and seven customer group areas within the Enterprise Business Group. In the role of Head Of Managed Services, Terry oversaw a local team of over 100 personnel and managed profit and loss responsibilities for the Managed Services and OSS business. Earlier positions include Deputy Project Director, overseeing a significant delivery project, and Senior Sales Manager, focusing on business development and sales strategy for Tier 2/3 telecom operators. Prior experience at Huawei included roles as Principal Solution Manager and Operations Consultant, specializing in business development and consulting services in regional markets. Terry's career began at Maxis Communications as an RF Planning & Optimisation Engineer. Terry holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Malaya.
