Valentin Kapitány

Valentin Kapitány is an accomplished AI researcher with a PhD in Physics from the University of Glasgow. Experience includes a role as a Researcher at Microsoft where AI deployment was enhanced on Project Silica, significantly improving throughput. Previously, as a Research Associate at Google, firmware and deep learning were developed for Project SOLI, utilizing radar technology. Additionally, at the University of Glasgow, Valentin contributed to advances in computer vision through the development of CNN and transformer-based models while also engaging in an AI spinout project. Currently, Valentin is an AI Researcher at Huawei, continuing a career focused on innovative applications of physics in technology.
