Xiaobin S.

Xiaobin S. is an experienced architect specializing in optical interconnects for AI computing clusters at 华为 since June 2021. Previously, as a project lead, Xiaobin S. focused on R&D for the design, implementation, and standardization of 50G PON optical access networks and managed projects involving all-optical campus network design. Prior experience includes a researcher role at FRAUNHOFER UK RESEARCH LIMITED from August 2020 to April 2021, concentrating on optical wireless communication, including underwater wireless optical communication, LiFi, and inter-satellite communication. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Optical Wireless Communication from KAUST and a B.S. in Semiconductor from the University of Science and Technology Beijing.
