Xingjun Chu

Xingjun (Jason) Chu is a Distinguished Engineer at Huawei Canada, where they lead a research team focused on next-generation network architecture and intelligent operation solutions for Data Center and Campus networks. With nearly two decades of experience in Information and Communication Technology, Xingjun has worked on high-performance computing, VOIP, network security, and currently, Cloud Computing/Data Center Networking. They hold a Ph.D. in Computer Aided Design from Beihang University, where they also completed their Bachelor’s degree. Throughout their career, Xingjun has held significant roles at organizations like Nortel, Avaya, and the OpenDaylight Project, contributing to advancements in networking technologies. In their leisure time, they enjoy various sports and spending quality time with family.
