Xingyu Chen

Xingyu Chen is a Machine Learning Engineer at Huawei, specializing in engineering deployment work related to AEC, AFC, and AICODEC since August 2022. Previously served as a Research Intern at Yuanfudao, focusing on age detection and sound event detection, and as a Research Assistant at Tencent, contributing to audio retrieval projects. In 2020, Xingyu led a team during the 6th China International College Students' "Internet+" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, achieving a Golden Prize and developing a multi-model emotion recognition system. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from both South China University of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley. Prior research includes video and speech emotion recognition and deep reinforcement learning at various institutions.
