Yi X. has extensive experience in media and communications, with 13 years in central-level media roles and 5 years in multinational corporate communication and public relations, achieving significant results. They served as Deputy Director at 中国中央广播电视总台 from 2011 to 2017, where they managed communication planning and covered major national events. Earlier, Yi was a journalist at 中国国际广播电台 from 2006 to 2009, focusing on news gathering and reporting on high-profile international conferences. Currently, they are the Head of External and Media Relations for Huawei in the Southern Africa Region, overseeing corporate communication and crisis management. Yi holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication from Communication University of China and also studied Media Management at Tampere University.
