Ed Lyons is an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience in the insurance and grocery sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of the HOA Practice at HUB International since July 2025, Lyons specializes in providing insurance options for Homeowners and Condominium Associations, establishing California's leadership in insurance for Common Interest Developments. Previously, Lyons held the position of CEO at Socher Insurance from January 2011 to July 2025 and has also worked in various strategic and engineering roles at Safeway and Randalls, including Director of Industrial Engineering and Director of Strategic Initiatives. Lyons holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco, having completed studies there from 1985 to 1989.
