Chris Egert is a seasoned broadcast journalist with extensive experience in television and radio. Currently serving on the Board of Directors for Wiggle Your Toes, Inc. since August 2024, Chris also contributes as a Morning News Podcaster for Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. since January 2023. At KSTP-TV, a tenure that began in April 2012, Chris has excelled as the Morning Show Co-Host for Minnesota Live and Morning News Anchor, winning multiple Emmy awards for breaking news coverage and significant projects. Previous roles include anchoring and reporting at KIRO-TV and WFTV, where Chris played key roles in covering major national events. Chris began a career in journalism at KOKK-AM in 1993 after earning a Bachelor's Degree in Communications/Public Relations from Huron University in 1996.
