David Smith is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operations and management across multiple leading companies in the electrical and lighting industries. Currently serving as VP of Group Operations at Hubbell Incorporated since March 2019, David previously held roles at BURNDY LLC as VP & GM BURNDY USA and at Hubbell Lighting, where responsibilities included VP of Operations and Brand VP for Columbia Lighting. With a strong foundation in product management and engineering developed during his time at General Electric and Westinghouse Electric Company, David has demonstrated expertise in new product introduction, manufacturing processes, and project engineering. David holds an MBA from Queens University of Charlotte and a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Western Carolina University.
