Jonathan Alvarez serves as Vice President of Legal for Latin America at Hubbell Incorporated since December 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing the legal strategy for the region, managing compliance, operational projects, and acquisitions. Prior to this role, Jonathan held the position of Senior Counsel, focusing on legal matters in Mexico and supporting various business groups. From May 2005 to November 2016, Jonathan was a Senior Associate at Gutierrez, Diaz, Esparza, S.C., providing corporate counsel to a leading global automaker, handling complex legal issues from contract negotiation to regulatory compliance across multiple sectors in Latin America. Jonathan holds an LLM in Comparative Law with a concentration in Business & Corporate Law from the University of San Diego School of Law and a Juris Doctor with Honors from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California.
