Engineering Leadership at Hubble Network

Art Tkachenko has a diverse work experience in various industries, starting in 2005 as a Signal Processing/Data Researcher at Berkeley Wireless Research Center. Art then co-founded Wirama in 2007, where they held roles in software, embedded, antenna, and hardware engineering. After the acquisition of Wirama by Checkpoint Systems, Art worked as a Technical Program Manager, commercializing and scaling RFID technology for merchandise visibility and shrink management.

In 2011, Art founded Pantry Retail, Inc, a technology company focused on unmanned retail of perishable goods, which was later acquired by Byte Technology. At Pantry Retail, Inc, they conceptualized and developed a hardware-software-cloud system deployed with major foodservice corporations. Subsequently, they served as the VP of Engineering at Byte Technology, leading engineering teams and scaling the Pantry self-serve micro-stores nationwide.

In 2019, Art founded Chaica.io, a company addressing the California wildfires through the development of a semi-autonomous robotic system for vegetation management. Art also worked as a Robotics Lead at Petra, where they led robotics initiatives.

Art joined Zipline in 2021 as a Team Lead, Ground Systems, overseeing ground systems operations. Currently, they are a Space+IoT Explorer at Hubble Network, working on space and IoT-related projects. Art is also an Advisor and Consultant at Verious, offering expertise in robotics, IoT, wireless, retail tech, and logistics tech.

Art Tkachenko has a strong education background in the field of technology and engineering. Art holds a Master of Science degree in Wireless Communication from the University of California, Berkeley. Art also completed the Management of Technology Program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, specializing in High-Tech Product Development. Furthermore, Art Tkachenko obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
