Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer at Hubble Network

David Paauwe has a diverse range of work experience in various engineering roles. David is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at Hubble Network since 2022. Previously, they were a Mechanical Design Engineer at L3Harris Technologies from 2017, where they designed high power transmission feedthroughs and contributed to the reduction of component cost. Before that, David served as a member of the Board of Directors and volunteer at Vector Space, a non-profit makerspace from 2015 to 2016. David also worked as an Engineer in Nuclear Safety at Framatome (formerly Areva) from 2012, where they created computer models for accident simulations and analyzed safety systems in nuclear power plants. Prior to that, David worked at Winchester Interconnect as a Design Engineer, designing RF and Microwave adapters for aerospace programs, and as a Primary Machinist, fabricating high precision interconnect components using CNC and manual machinery.

David Paauwe attended the Florida Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Nuclear Technology. Additionally, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering during the same period.
