Hubei Normal University (HBNU), a key provincial university specialized in teacher education, focuses on such disciplines as education science, humanities, natural science and engineering and regards one of its major tasks as serving the basic education. Having been graded as “excellent” in the national teaching quality evaluation of undergraduate programs, HBNU is committed to developing itself into an application-oriented undergraduate university for the National Project of Industry-Education Integrated Development. It has also been selected for Hubei’s project of building domestic first-class universities and disciplines. HBNU has 57 student associations, and nearly 350 domestic and overseas practice centres, including 1 national practical education centre, and 7 provincial practice and training centres and provincial demonstration centres.
