Mike Karthauser

Mike Karthauser has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Mike has recently worked at Huboo as a Senior Software Engineer, where they are currently employed, and previously served as an Application Developer. Prior to that, they were employed at BookingLive, where they held the position of Lead Back End / API Developer (PHP). In this role, they were responsible for managing and maintaining API development, supporting the React Front End, and transitioning the Laravel application to microservices.

Before their tenure at BookingLive, Mike worked as a Senior Back End / API Developer (PHP) at a Digital Transformation Agency, where they were involved in adding means for customer and course registration to meet the grant-funded MVP.

Mike also has experience as an API Developer and PHP Developer (API) at Hargreaves Lansdown, where they worked on API integration work and supported the development of mobile applications.

Additionally, they have held positions as a PHP Web Application Developer at eKeeper Group, a Full Stack Web Developer (Contract) and Drupal Developer (Contract) at Nomensa, and a Drupal Developer (Freelance) at Proctor + Stevenson. Mike also has experience as a Lead Developer at Brightstorm Limited, where they were responsible for the day-to-day running of the business.

From 1991 to 1993, they attended Cricklade Tertiary College, where they obtained their A Levels in Art, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics.

In 1993, they enrolled in Winchester School of Art for Foundation Studies in Art Media and Design, with a focus on Graphic Design. Mike completed their studies at this institution in 1994.

From 1994 to 1997, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Graphic Design at the University of the West of England.
