Daniel Blackhurst

Daniel Blackhurst is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the FinTech sector. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Product Lead at Hubpay since February 2022, Daniel successfully led the complete replatforming of the company's tech and product stack, launching the UAE’s first fully digital remittance platform and mobile app within nine months. Prior to Hubpay, Daniel held various senior engineering roles, including Vice President of Engineering at Nebuula, Chief Engineer at Greensill, and Technical Lead at HM Revenue & Customs, where Daniel played key roles in digital transformations and project management. Daniel's career also includes significant contributions at organizations such as BBC, Thales, and rentalcars.com, all while holding an academic background in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool.
